I was raised in Minnesota and South Dakota and grew up a fan of the Minnesota Twins. After High School I enlisted in the United States Navy for four years and was stationed in the Brooklyn Naval Yard.
After the Navy I earned a Masters Degree at the University of South Dakota. I started my career In Parks and Recreation and finished my last 25 as a City Manager in the mountains of Colorado. I worked in Aspen, Avon, Basalt, Glenwood Springs, and I retired in Frisco in 2017.
My wife, Carol, and I moved to Westminster in August of 2019. We have five grown children and four grandchildren. I really enjoy volunteering at the museum and talking baseball with our visitors. Many of our visitors are from out of town and I love to tell them about our wonderful state of Colorado and the Denver area.
