Dave Menk

Born in Pittsburgh, my bond to the Pirates was ignited at the age of 9 when they beat the Baltimore Orioles in the World Series. I became a fan for life – and as such, have had many smiles and tears along the way watching my beloved Buccos.

My first ballgame ever attended was the following year, 1972. My grandfather took me to Three Rivers Stadium. We sat in general admission seats in the outfield watching two baseball immortals – Roberto Clemente and Willie Mays – play in person. The bigness of it all as a 10 year old boy was simple awe – inspiring.

I grew up in Virginia and have lived in Michigan, New Jersey, Florida, South Carolina, and now Colorado over my journey. After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University, I have been grateful to have had a career in professional sales/sales management over the past 35 years, with the last 25 of those being spent in the advertising world.

Divorced for many years – I am the proud father of my daughter, Taylor – who is a technical recruiter in Orlando. My interests include personal/spiritual development, sports, live music, reading, and traveling. I am currently 5 ballparks away from completing my MLB ballpark bucket list and I just recently started a National Park one as well which I will gradually work on over the next 8-10 years.
